About the Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with a leading international investment and asset management group on a senior search mandate based in Singapore.
• This is a key leadership position, partnering closely with the Senior Leadership to oversee Group financial management, complex consolidation, financial reporting and governance, while driving continuous improvements in financial processes and supporting key strategic initiatives across the organisation.

Main duties & and responsibilities

• Lead the Group's financial reporting and consolidation activities, ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements across multiple entities and business units.
• Provide technical expertise on complex accounting matters, ensuring appropriate application and interpretation of IFRS, SFRS, GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
• Oversee statutory reporting and regulatory disclosure requirements, including SGX Listing Rules, ensuring compliance with applicable reporting obligations and governance standards.
• Establish and strengthen Group accounting policies, financial controls and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance across the organisation.
• Lead engagements with external auditors and key stakeholders, including the Audit and Risk Committee and Board of Directors, on financial reporting matters and audit-related matters.
• Drive improvements in Group reporting processes, accounting systems and consolidation frameworks to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy and control.

The Talent

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA / CA / ACCA / ICAEW qualification.
• Extensive experience in Group financial reporting, consolidation and technical accounting, preferably within a large multinational, complex or SGX-listed organisation.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, SFRS, GAAP and relevant statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex consolidation structures involving multiple entities, business units and geographical jurisdictions.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to engage senior management, Board members, Audit and Risk Committees and external auditors.
