Key Account Manager, Health & Beauty Channel (Watsons)

Location: Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur

Salary: RM10,000 – RM12,000 basic per month + monthly incentive + annual bonus

Our client, a leading health & beauty brand company, is looking for a driven and experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow its Watsons account. You will own the commercial, category and customer plan for the account, driving high double-digit YOY growth, distribution expansion and new product launches while keeping stock planning tight

• Minimum 5 years of FMCG sales experience, with Health & Beauty channel sales experience

• KAM/Sales experience handling the Watsons account for skin care or personal care products

• Strong understanding of Malaysia's retail and pharmacy landscape

• Proven ability to range new products and run trade marketing activities with retailers

• An aggressive, growth-driven sales mindset with strong negotiation and analytical skills

• Good written and spoken English

• Own the Watsons account and deliver monthly and annual sales targets

• Build and execute the 3C plan (Commercial, Category, Customer) for the account

• Grow numeric and weighted distribution and drive new product ranging and NPD launches

• Improve existing SKU performance through promotions and SKU rationalisation reviews

• Own monthly sales forecasting and stock planning to minimise expiry and returns

• Negotiate trading terms and manage trade spend against budget, P&L and KPIs

• Coordinate with the warehouse on order fulfilment and on-time delivery

• Manage stock hygiene in trade and on hand, and lead a team of merchandisers

• Support trade marketing activations and work closely with cross-functional teams

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor stock, displays and shopper behaviour
