The Osteopath works closely withdoctors and other healthcare professionals to design treatment programmes tohelp patients with injuries, disabilities and physical impairments increasetheir mobility, and be independent in their physical activities.
The programmes may includeexercises and the use of assistive devices. He/She also works with patients tohelp them optimise their health by promoting wellbeing and healthy living, andpreventing injuries.
Other duties include
~ Conduct talks relating tophysiotherapy and rehabilitation.
~ Test and evaluate devices.
