Kerja Internship Production Engineer, Gaji tinggi MYR 1,000 di Precast Concrete (Pontian) Johor - Maukerja

Responsibilities

Production & Process

• Plan and follow daily production schedules to meet output and delivery targets.
• Set up moulds, monitor batching and curing parameters, and ensure materials match specifications.
• Record production data, cycle times and material usage to keep forecasts accurate.
• Coordinate with purchasing to flag material shortfalls and suggest schedule adjustments.

Quality & Safety

• Perform routine inspections for dimensions, surface finish and strength, and document nonconformances.
• Collect and assist with compressive strength testing and maintain test records.
• Enforce site safety rules and report hazards, following local regulations and company procedures.
• Support quality audits and help implement corrective actions that reduce rework.

Maintenance & Support

• Coordinate preventive maintenance and basic repairs for mixers, moulds and curing equipment.
• Work with technicians to troubleshoot mechanical or process faults and reduce downtime.
• Train operators on correct handling, lifting and inspection checkpoints to keep output consistent.
• Help implement small improvements to reduce waste and improve line efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree, Civil, Building Construction or related field.
• Practical exposure from internships, final year projects or industrial training in manufacturing or construction is a plus.
• Willingness to work on our plant in Pontian.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of concrete technology, mix design and curing behaviour relevant to precast products.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drawing tools and ability to read technical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for logging production data and simple analysis.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Good problem solving and attention to detail when inspecting products and processes.
• Clear communicator who can work well with shop floor teams and translate technical needs into actions.
• Proactive learner who accepts feedback and prioritises safety in a hands-on environment.
• Team player with the ability to manage time and prioritise during busy production periods.

As a Production Engineer you will help build and scale production processes for moulding, casting, curing and finishing. You will work closely with design, operators and suppliers to make sure our parts meet spec and delivery timelines.
