About the role:

Join A2 Automation Sdn. Bhd., a growing system integrator specializing in ELV, ICT, Security, and Automation Solutions. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring safety, health, environmental, and legal compliance across our project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety and health requirements.
• Develop and implement safety procedures, programmes, and policies.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify unsafe conditions and work practices and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Conduct safety briefings, inductions, and toolbox meetings.
• Monitor contractors, subcontractors, and workers to ensure safe work practices.
• Monitor workplace hazards such as noise, dust, chemicals, electrical work, and working at height.
• Stop unsafe work activities when necessary.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with DOSH/JKKP, Main Contractors, clients, project teams, and other stakeholders on safety matters.
• Maintain safety reports, records, HIRARC, inspection reports, and other related documentation.
• Monitor and follow up on safety issues and corrective actions.
• Attend safety meetings and provide safety advice to the project team.
• Perform other safety-related duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Valid DOSH/JKKP Green Book (Safety & Health Officer) registration.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant safety experience, preferably in construction, engineering, ELV, ICT, or electrical projects.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian safety and health requirements.
• Experience in site inspections, risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Good communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple project sites.
• Willing to travel to project sites.
• Possess own transport is an added advantage.
