Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field. 
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant industrial, maintenance, engineering or technical experience are encouraged to apply. 
• Strong interest in industrial pumps, valves, rotating equipment and mechanical equipment. 
• Basic understanding of mechanical and engineering principles, with the willingness to develop technical knowledge in pump and valve applications. 
• Willing to learn pump / valve selection, technical quotation and industrial applications. 
• Comfortable communicating with customers and participating in customer visits, site inspections and technical discussions. 
• Willing to travel for customer and site visits when required. 
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. 
• Able to understand customer requirements, ask relevant questions and follow through on assigned tasks. 
• Responsible, proactive and willing to take ownership of work. 
• Able to work independently after training while being receptive to guidance and feedback. 
• Possess a valid driving licence. 
• Willing to work in Shah Alam, Selangor. 

Added Advantage

• Experience or exposure in pumps, valves, rotating equipment, mechanical seals or plant maintenance. 
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Manufacturing or other industrial environments. 
• Previous customer-facing, technical sales, application engineering or site experience. 
• Familiarity with technical drawings, specifications, quotations or engineering documentation.

You do not need to know everything from Day 1.

You will learn about industrial pumps and valves, join customer visits and site inspections, understand real industrial applications and gradually develop your own area of responsibility.

What You Will Learn & Do

1. Learn Industrial Pumps & Valves

You will receive practical training in areas such as:

• Centrifugal pumps and industrial pump applications
• Pump selection and basic sizing
• Industrial valves and valve selection
• Mechanical seals and related equipment
• Understanding flow, pressure, temperature and process conditions
• Product application and technical quotation

You will learn not only what the product is, but also why a particular solution is suitable for the application.

1. Work Directly With Customers

Your initial focus will be customer-facing work.

You will learn how to:

• Understand what customers actually need
• Ask the right technical questions
• Identify equipment and application problems
• Follow up enquiries and quotations
• Explain technical solutions to customers
• Build long-term customer relationships
• Develop new business opportunities

You will not simply be selling a product from a catalogue.

You will learn to sell solutions.

1. Go to Industrial Sites

We believe technical knowledge becomes much stronger when you see the actual equipment.

You will have opportunities to:

• Join customer site visits
• Inspect pumps, valves and related equipment
• Understand actual plant applications
• Observe troubleshooting and maintenance situations
• Discuss problems directly with customers
• Learn from experienced team members
