Job Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining demand forecasts and production schedules in alignment with sales projections and inventory targets.
• Managing the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to secure the best value for materials and services.
• Coordinating with production, sales, and finance teams to ensure material availability and optimal inventory levels.
• Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining relationships with key vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Analysis market trends and commodity prices to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Preparing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any supply chain disruptions or delays.
• Managing inventory control systems and implementing best practices for stock optimization.
• Collaborating with production planning to forecast material requirements and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency across planning and purchasing functions.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in planning, purchasing or supply chain roles in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, and procurement best practices.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, PR/PO process, and customer delivery commitment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Good coordination skills with cross-functional departments.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
