1. Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Marketing, or related disciplines.

2. Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply. Candidates with relevant sales experience in precision engineering or manufacturing will have an added advantage.

3. Strong interest in mechanical engineering, precision machining, or manufacturing processes.

4. A people-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

5. Able to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications (training will be provided where necessary).

6. Resourceful, proactive, and capable of coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.

7. Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

8. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

9. Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel for customer visits when required.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical and customer-facing responsibilities. Besides preparing quotations and developing new business opportunities, you will serve as the primary contact point for customers throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The successful candidate should possess strong communication skills, a keen interest in engineering and manufacturing, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare accurate and timely quotations based on customers' technical requirements.

2. Develop and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.

3. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up.

4. Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments.

5. Coordinate customer enquiries relating to:

   • Production status

   • Delivery schedules

   • Technical clarifications

   • Quality-related matters

6. Work closely with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Planning and Quality departments to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.

7. Identify and coordinate the appropriate internal person-in-charge (PIC) to resolve customer requests efficiently.

8. Source and recommend suitable domestic suppliers based on customers' technical and commercial requirements.

9. Support project coordination from quotation stage through production and delivery.

10. Maintain accurate sales records and prepare periodic sales reports.
