Lead Enterprise Technology Transformation Across the MISC Group

MISC Berhad is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Enterprise Applications & Platforms to lead the strategy, governance, delivery, and operations of enterprise applications and integration platforms across the Group.

In this leadership role, you will drive the transformation and optimization of core enterprise systems, including ERP, HR, Procurement, and Enterprise Integration services. Working closely with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and strategic partners, you will ensure technology investments deliver business value, operational excellence, security, and innovation across MISC Group companies.

What You'll Be Doing:

Enterprise Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute enterprise application and integration roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Drive application modernization, process standardization, and platform optimization initiatives.
• Develop long-term application lifecycle and investment strategies to support business growth.

Enterprise Application Delivery

• Lead the implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and rollout of ERP, HR, Procurement, and employee experience solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, quality, and timeline expectations.
• Govern the transition of projects into sustainable support operations.

Application & Platform Management

• Oversee the performance, stability, security, and availability of business-critical enterprise platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement, technical debt reduction, and operational excellence.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure service and platform performance.

Enterprise Integration & Automation

• Provide strategic leadership for the Enterprise Integration Platform (Workato).
• Govern integration architecture, APIs, automation frameworks, and platform operations.
• Promote reusable, scalable, and secure integrations that support end-to-end business processes.

Vendor, AMS & Governance Management

• Lead Application Managed Services (AMS) governance and supplier performance management.
• Manage software vendors, implementation partners, and outsourced service providers.
• Oversee contract negotiations, service reviews, and value realization initiatives.

Risk, Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ICT governance, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage application-related risks, controls, business continuity, and remediation initiatives.

Leadership & Capability Development

• Lead and develop high-performing enterprise applications and integration teams.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, and capability-building programmes.
• Foster a culture of innovation, service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master's Degree or MBA will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Enterprise Applications, ERP, Enterprise Integration, or Digital Transformation.
• At least 8 years of leadership experience managing technology portfolios, teams, and strategic initiatives.
• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise application and integration transformation programmes.
