We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Head of Compliance to lead the compliance function with a leading financial institution. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the compliance framework across multiple jurisdictions within the region, providing regulatory guidance to senior management and business stakeholders, and fostering a strong culture of compliance across the organisation.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders while ensuring that compliance risks are effectively identified, assessed, and managed in line with local regulatory requirements and global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the regional Compliance function for the asset management business
• Provide strategic compliance advice to support business alignment with regulatory requirements and the company's risk appetite
• Oversee the design, implementation, and enhancement of compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring programmes.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and manage regulatory examinations, inspections, and enquiries.
• Monitor regulatory developments across the region and assess their impact on business operations.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a regional team of compliance professionals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 years of experience in regulatory compliance, with a strong track record in the asset management or investment advisory space
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks governing asset management activities
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
