Salary: RM6,000 – RM10,000/month

We are looking for a Tooling Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in metal stamping die/tooling design. You will be responsible for developing die designs, improving existing tooling, solving production issues, and working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate and manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop die concepts, layouts, and tooling designs for metal stamping projects.
• Design and modify die sets based on customer requirements, quality standards, and cost targets.
• Test samples, identify tooling issues, and recommend design improvements.
• Review customer drawings and specifications and translate them into manufacturable designs.
• Ensure tooling accuracy to reduce material waste, rework, and production downtime.
• Update engineering drawings, layouts, and design documentation.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure designs can be produced effectively.
• Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software for tooling design.
• Keep up to date with new materials, tooling methods, and stamping technologies.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Qualification in Engineering, Tool & Die, Metal Fabrication, Welding, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in metal stamping die/tooling design or closely related manufacturing operations.
• Experience with progressive dies or precision stamping is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong problem-solving skills and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Working Requirements

• Based in Kuantan, Pahang.
• Fully onsite during normal office hours.
• Local candidates: Accommodation provided by the company.
• Expat candidates: Accommodation is self-arranged.
• Notice period of up to 1 month preferred.
• Selection process includes 2 online interviews.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
