We are looking for SAP professionals who can combine strong SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere capabilities with business understanding, stakeholder management and the ability to operate across project delivery and AMS / Operate environments.

The Opportunity

As an SAP SAC / Datasphere Consultant or Senior Consultant, you will support clients across enterprise analytics, reporting, planning and data platform initiatives.

The role may cover the full application lifecycle, from business demand and solution design through development, testing and deployment, followed by AMS / Operate, enhancement and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

1. SAP Analytics Cloud – Reporting & Planning

• Analyse business requirements for analytics, reporting and planning.
• Design and develop SAP Analytics Cloud stories, dashboards and analytical applications.
• Support planning models, planning workflows and business performance management.
• Develop analytical content aligned with business KPIs and management reporting requirements.
• Optimise existing SAC applications, stories and planning solutions.
• Support troubleshooting and performance optimisation.

2. SAP Datasphere – Data & Semantic Modelling

• Design and develop SAP Datasphere data models and analytical structures.
• Build semantic models to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Develop data flows, transformations and data integration processes.
• Support data replication and integration from SAP and non-SAP sources.
• Integrate Datasphere with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW / BW4HANA, SAP HANA and other enterprise data platforms.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and quality checks.
• Support data architecture and analytics solution design.

3. SAP Data Integration & Enterprise Analytics

• Analyse end-to-end data and reporting requirements.
• Support integration between SAP Datasphere, SAC and enterprise data sources.
• Understand data lineage, data transformation and semantic layers.
• Work with technical and functional teams to resolve data integration issues.
• Support enterprise reporting, management information and business intelligence requirements.
• Contribute to data standardisation and analytics governance.

4. AMS / Operate & Production Support

You may be assigned to Level 1 or Level 2 AMS support, working across the client IT team, partnering systems and Deloitte's Application Managed Services team.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide SAP SAC / Datasphere production support.
• Investigate and resolve basic-to-medium complexity incidents.
• Perform functional analysis and troubleshooting.
• Monitor fixes and validate successful resolution.
• Manage service requests and application issues within agreed SLAs.
• Coordinate with SAP, infrastructure, data and integration teams where required.
• Maintain incident, resolution and knowledge documentation.

5. Problem Management & Root-Cause Analysis

• Identify recurring application and data issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and problem management.
• Develop recommendations and permanent corrective actions.
• Present findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Track remediation activities through to completion.
• Contribute to improved application stability and data quality.

6. Enhancement & Solution Development

• Lead or contribute to solution design discussions for medium-to-complex analytics enhancements.
• Analyse business requirements and assess solution options.
• Prepare effort estimates and delivery plans.
• Consider end-to-end data, integration and reporting impacts.
• Develop, test and deploy SAC / Datasphere enhancements.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution and production deployment.

7. Project Implementation

You may also participate as a member of an SAP analytics or data transformation project team.

Responsibilities may include:

• Requirements gathering and business process assessment.
• Fit-gap and solution assessment.
• SAP SAC / Datasphere solution design.
• Data modelling and integration development.
• Development and configuration.
• SIT / UAT and business acceptance.
• Deployment and post-go-live transition.
• Preparation of project documentation and work products.

8. Documentation & Governance

• Maintain solution and application documentation according to Deloitte standards.
• Follow established AMS procedures and client IT policies.
• Maintain functional specifications, data models, test documentation and operating procedures.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition activities.
• Contribute to analytics governance and application standards.

9. Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve analytics processes, data quality and application performance.
• Contribute to automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Improve reporting and planning processes.
• Support adoption of new SAP analytics capabilities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives alongside normal project responsibilities.

10. Stakeholder & Team Leadership

At Consultant / Senior Consultant level, you may be expected to:

• Lead or facilitate business and technical discussions.
• Engage business stakeholders and client IT teams.
• Coordinate with functional, technical, data and integration teams.
• Communicate risks, issues, dependencies and recommendations.
• Lead or coach Analyst and Consultant-level team members.
• Support quality assurance and delivery governance.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability development.

11. Business Development

You may also support business development activities by contributing to:

• Client proposals.
• Solution presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• 4–8 years of relevant SAP experience, preferably across SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW / BW4HANA, SAP HANA or related SAP analytics technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and/or SAP Datasphere.
• Good understanding of enterprise data modelling, analytics and reporting.
• Experience integrating SAP analytics solutions with SAP S/4HANA and/or other enterprise data sources.
• Ability to understand end-to-end business processes and translate requirements into analytics and data solutions.
• Experience preparing test data, test scenarios and supporting SIT / UAT.
• Basic technical troubleshooting or debugging capability is an advantage.
• Experience delivering solutions on cloud and/or on-premise platforms.
• Experience working with traditional Waterfall and/or Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong command of English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and engage business and technology stakeholders.
• Proactive and resourceful approach to project and operational delivery.
• Ability to learn and support new SAP solutions and applications where required.
• Willingness to work according to client business hours and participate in rotational support for critical or high-priority requests where required.
