A Public Listed Energy Company Is Hiring A Finance Executive

Your new company

My client is a public-listed energy company with a strong presence across Asia. They are currently seeking a Finance Executive to take ownership of full sets of accounts and support the business through its next phase of growth.


Your new role

• Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with MFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the tax planning, audit processes, and statutory filings.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial reports for Bursa announcements and relevant board papers.
• Liaise with auditors for the yearly audit, preparation of financial statements and assist in the preparation of the Annual Report.
• Assist in preparation of tax estimates and liaise with tax agents for statutory tax submission.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and other external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and internal controls.

• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required.
• A professional membership is advantageous for this position, ie ACCA, CPA, MIA.
• Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of working experience in a similar position.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential for managing financial data and reports.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are critical for ensuring accuracy in financial records and transactions.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
