Role Description This contract Financial Advisor role is based in Petaling Jaya and follows a hybrid work arrangement, combining office-based collaboration with flexibility to work from home. The Financial Advisor will provide comprehensive financial advisory services, including assessing client financial situations, identifying goals, and developing tailored plans in areas such as mortgage, estate, trust, retirement, and investments. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing recommendations, and presenting clear strategies that align with regulatory requirements and firm standards. The role involves ongoing portfolio review, monitoring market developments, and adjusting client plans as needed. The Financial Advisor will also collaborate with internal specialists, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold high standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to design comprehensive, goal-based financial strategies.
• Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Investments to analyze financial products, assess risk, and optimize client portfolios.
• Candidates should possess skills in Financial Advisory to provide objective guidance, communicate recommendations clearly, and build long-term client relationships.
• Candidates should have strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment in Petaling Jaya, managing time effectively and using digital tools for remote collaboration.
• Relevant academic background in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field, and professional certifications (e.g., Degree, Master or equivalent) are advantageous.
• Prior experience in financial advisory, banking, wealth management, or related areas is preferred but not strictly required if strong potential can be demonstrated.
