Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm); Saturday (8am – 12pm) / Shift Work (Day: 8am – 8pm, Night: 8pm – 8am)
Your Responsibilities: -
Operate and monitor the distillation process plant to recover and convert distilled waste materials into reusable products while ensuring optimal recovery yield and utility efficiency.
Perform plant start-up and shutdown in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain safe operating parameters.
Ensure the safe handling, transfer, storage, and treatment of flammable materials, maintaining sufficient storage capacity and conducting routine inspections for leaks, spills, and other hazards.
Coordinate with the Laboratory and Resale teams for waste/product sampling, quality verification, and resale activities.
Record process data, monitor plant performance, report deviations, troubleshoot process upsets, and collaborate with the Engineering team to resolve equipment malfunctions and implement preventive measures.
Comply with departmental 5S, safety, and SOP requirements, and participate in training programmes to enhance chemical handling, operational, and safety knowledge.
You will need: -
NITEC in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent
Proficient in basic computer application
