What The Role Is

As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Development Planning under the Development Planning Branch in the Infrastructure and Facility Services Division, you will be part of a team that plans and manages our schools’ capacity and physical infrastructure to provide students with a conducive learning environment.

What You Will Be Working On

• Manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure programmes or projects for schools, including the development of planning strategies and preparation of policy papers and management submissions
• Work closely with schools, internal divisions and government agencies to drive infrastructure programmes or projects, and land-related planning issues
• Monitor and review demand and supply of school places across Singapore
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Relevant training and background in the areas of land-use planning and development, as well as urban planning would be preferred
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous with a keen interest in statistics, data collection and analysis
• Good organisational awareness, written communication and people skills
• Ability to work proactively and respond to demands of a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge in the use of geographic/ geospatial software and data analytics tools would be an advantage
