Role Description The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Puchong, responsible for overseeing engineering and execution activities for utility and infrastructure projects. This role includes preparing project plans, technical drawings, and work schedules, coordinating with site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. The Project Engineer will monitor project progress, manage technical issues, support procurement of materials and equipment, and participate in site inspections and testing for HDD, underground power, fibre optic, solar, and data centre infrastructure works. Day-to-day tasks also involve preparing reports and documentation, attending project meetings, and collaborating with project managers to optimize resources, timelines, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to power networks, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
• Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to coordinate schedules, resources, and deliverables effectively.
• Candidates should possess solid Communication skills for clear interaction with clients, contractors, site teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Candidates should ideally have experience in underground utilities, HDD, power cable installation, or fibre optic infrastructure.
• Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Candidates should be familiar with safety standards, local regulations, and quality assurance practices in construction and utilities.
• Candidates should be proficient with engineering and project tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar) and able to work independently and as part of a site-based team.
