Job description:

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our Finance team at Melia Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle or assist with full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL)
• Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reports and e-invoice reconciliations
• Assist the Finance Manager in daily finance operations
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Assist with audit, tax matters, and licensing with relevant authorities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in hotel or hospitality industry is an advantage
• Familiar with SUN, Q&A, Opera Cloud & MC accounting systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience handling audit and full set of accounts
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Work Location

• Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur-Walking distance to Kuala Lumpur Monorail and Klang Valley MRT stations.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
