Lead Enterprise Transformation at Scale
Hays is partnering with a well-established Malaysian institution undergoing a significant phase of technology modernisation and digital transformation. We are seeking an experienced Senior Vice President, IT Project Manager to drive the delivery of complex, business-critical technology programmes across a large enterprise environment. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic technology initiatives, engage directly with senior leadership, and oversee high-impact transformation programmes that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, risk management, and digital capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology and transformation initiatives across multiple business functions.
• Define programme governance frameworks, delivery roadmaps, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, stakeholder expectations, and executive reporting.
• Work closely with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful implementation outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement within project delivery practices and establish best-in-class programme management standards.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, budget, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Mentor and lead project managers, business analysts, delivery leads, and cross-functional project teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience leading enterprise-wide technology projects and transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated success managing multimillion-ringgit technology initiatives in complex organisations.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience working within highly regulated, large-scale corporate environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication capabilities.
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Agile, or equivalent project management certification will be advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing third-party vendors and strategic partners.
