Position: Account Executive

Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Project Manager & Director.
Employment Type: Full-Time

Availability : Immediately Hire.

1. Position Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the company, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, properly documented and processed in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

The position is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, monitoring accounts receivable and payable, assisting in cash flow management, preparing financial reports and supporting management in financial decision-making.

2. Key Responsibilities

General Accounting

• Manage and maintain the company's daily accounting transactions and records.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, journal entries and other accounting documents.
• Maintain accurate records for sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Ensure all accounting entries are recorded accurately and within the required timeframe.
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, delivery orders and supporting documents.
• Process supplier payments according to approved payment terms.
• Assist in preparing documents required for annual audit.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and other professional advisers when required.
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documents are properly maintained for audit and tax purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of tax-related schedules and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 1 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in handling full-set accounts is preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Pay: RM2,500.00 per month
