Job Purpose

Lead and oversee the delivery of multiple technology refresh projects within a live data centre environment, including Building Management System (BMS), Energy Management System (EMS), Central Plant Optimisation System (CPOS), OT network infrastructure and security systems. The role acts as the owner's representative to monitor project progress, manage risks, coordinate stakeholders and ensure all works are completed safely, on schedule and without disruption to critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of technology refresh projects and act as the primary point of contact between clients, operations teams and vendors.

• Review project schedules, technical submissions, method statements, risk assessments and migration plans to ensure readiness for execution.

• Monitor project progress, milestones, key deliverables, budgets and change requests, escalating issues where necessary.

• Identify, assess and manage project risks through the establishment and maintenance of a project risk register.

• Coordinate and chair project meetings, ensuring timely closure of action items and clear communication among stakeholders.

• Review planned shutdowns, cutovers and commissioning activities to ensure appropriate controls, contingency measures and rollback plans are in place.

• Ensure all works comply with applicable safety, regulatory and client requirements.

• Oversee factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), integrated systems testing and final commissioning activities.

• Provide regular management reports covering project status, risks, issues, budget, schedule and key decision points.

• Ensure project documentation, as-built records, training and handover requirements are completed prior to project close-out.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years' experience in project management within mission-critical facilities, data centres or critical infrastructure environments.

• Proven experience managing upgrades or migrations involving BMS, EMS/EPMS, SCADA, controls, OT networks or security systems.

• Strong understanding of critical facilities operations, change management and commissioning practices.

• Experience managing multiple vendors and stakeholders in live operational environments.

• Familiarity with risk management, business continuity and operational resilience requirements for data centres.

• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.

• Data centre or critical facilities certification.

• Experience with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, Trane CPOS or similar critical facilities platforms.

• Experience delivering technology refresh or lifecycle replacement projects valued above S$3 million.
