About The Company
Founders today are building global companies from day one — but the systems that manage their money were built for a different era. Aspire exists to change that!
We’re building the financial operating system for global founders, bringing banking, software, and automation into a single platform so businesses can move faster across borders and stay focused on building.
Aspire is built by people who think from first principles, care deeply about solving hard problems, and take real ownership of their work. Our team brings global experience from leading fintech and technology companies, and many of us are former founders and operators who understand what it takes to build thoughtfully, make trade-offs, and deliver at scale in a global environment.
Backed by leading global investors including Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, Aspire has been trusted by more than 50,000 startups and growing businesses worldwide to manage their finances since 2018. Together with partners like J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise, we’re building for the next generation of global companies.
About The Role
Aspire sends a large volume of automated customer messages through ************* (CIO), including onboarding nudges, lifecycle emails, and account and transaction notifications.
We’re migrating these communications to our new brand template, ensuring every message has accurate, up-to-date content and delivers a consistent and trustworthy customer experience.
This is a Claude-first project. You'll use Claude and our in-house Claude skills to rebuild templates and review copy efficiently, while applying your own judgement to validate every output before it goes for review. You'll work against a weekly build plan, with clearly defined batches and deadlines.
What You’ll Do
You'll take ownership of bulk template builds, with completed work submitted to the team for quality checks (QC) and final sign-off.
- Rebuild email templates: Migrate CIO email templates to the new brand layouts, working through batches according to the weekly plan in the master tracker
- Use AI to streamline build: Work with Claude and our in-house Claude skills to clean up legacy HTML, remove duplicated headers, footers and styles, and map email content to the correct layout classes and brand colours
- Update and validate content: Replace legacy copy with approved, update-to-date content, and check that Liquid variables, links and fallbacks work correctly
- Run test previews: Generate test previews across key customer segments to identify rendering, content and personalisation issues before submitting builds for QC
- Maintain project tracking: Keep the master tracker updated with the status of every campaign and template you work on
- Identify and log issues: Categorise issues by type (content or data) and severity (major: incorrect customer data or info, broken links, critical rendering issues; minor: copy inconsistencies or visual polish)
- Flag upstream data issues: Identify missing or incorrect customer attributes and flag them for upstream fixes rather than attempting to work around data issues in the copy.
Must Have
What we’re looking for
- AI proficiency: A confident, daily user of Claude (or similar AI assistants), comfortable writing effective prompts, using skills and critically reviewing AI-generated outputs
- Basic HTML skills: Comfortable reading and editing simple HTML, particularly email templates
- Strong attention to detail: Able to spot broken links, incorrect variables, rendering issues and off-brand formatting before they reach QC
- Execution and organisation: Organised, with the ability to manage repetitive, high-volume tasks and meet weekly deadlines
- Communication: Clear written English, with the confidence to flag issues and blockers early
Nice To Have
- Hands-on experience with email marketing or CRM platforms such as *************, HubSpot, Braze, Mailchimp
- Familiarity with Liquid or similar templating languages
- Experience building or customising Claude skills, AI agents or automation workflows
