Responsible for carrying out business plans, promoting new business opportunities for the Branch while retaining and growing existing accounts through Agency, Co Operative & Brokers by Entities (EIB & ETB). Responsible to carry out the short and long-term strategies and action plans and offers value-added solutions for the branch business partners and customers so as to exceed customer expectations. To ensure the effective implementations of new businesses plans and execution of retention strategy. Responsible to also play the role in making Etiqa as the preferred long term business partners for at the Branch, thereby enhancing Etiqa corporate image.

Job Description

• Build, develop and maintain long-term business relationships with all the intermediaries (Agency, Brokers and Co Operative) to influence retention, growth of existing accounts and promote new business opportunities. Servicing including schedule visitation to all distributors / channels Promote value proposition in business procurement
• Manage and monitor agents performances by setting individual targets Monitor Agency loss ratio. Assisting agents in penetrating new market by conducting presentation to clients to secure business for the Company as a whole. Recruitment of new productive agents and Franchise Dealers
• Strictly monitoring of “Cash Before Cover “and “Premium Warranty” regulation Ensure all documents required for issuance of policies are followed through. Implement effective credit control by ensuring all monies due are collected on time.
• Regular interaction with relevant functional areas such as Underwriters, Finance in ensuring turnaround time and service level agreement are met Obtain feedback from intermediaries and customers and provide feedback.

Qualification / Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, Economics, Management, or related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in Business Development, Sales, Customer Relationship Management, and the Insurance industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, agents, brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good presentation and negotiation skills.
• Willing to travel for business development activities, client meetings, and distributor engagements when required.
