Technicians are responsible for carrying out field-level installation, upgrade, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, testing and commissioning works for CCTV systems at assigned project sites within the Northern Zone, in accordance with technical standards and safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Execution

• Carry out installation, upgrade, maintenance, testing and commissioning works at site as assigned.

• Perform troubleshooting and corrective works for CCTV systems and related equipment.

• Support site activities according to project schedules and requirements.

Technical Compliance

• Ensure works are performed according to technical specifications, approved procedures and safety requirements.

• Ensure CCTV systems and related equipment are installed and maintained properly.

Reporting

• Report work completion status, technical issues, defects and site conditions to the Senior Technical Executive / Team Leader.

• Complete required site documentation and work reports.

Equipment Handling

• Handle, maintain and safeguard tools, equipment and materials used for site works.

• Report damaged, missing or defective equipment to the relevant person in charge.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

*Education & Experience

-Relevant qualification and/or experience in CCTV / security systems installation and maintenance, electrical, networking or related technical fields.

-Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications may be considered.

-Professional Certifications — Advantage

-Certifications related to CCTV / Surveillance systems.

-NIOSH-Tenaga Safety Passport (NTSP).

-CIDB Green Card.

Personal Attributes

-Willing and able to travel between project sites within the Northern Zone.

-Willing to work after hours, overtime or be on standby when required.

-Physically fit for field and site work.

-Responsible, disciplined and safety-conscious.
