MATASIGHT Optometry is a primary eyecare clinic focused on providing professional, patient-centred eye care for children, adults and families.

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Vision Consultant & Clinic Operations Assistant to join our Kota Damansara team.

This is an active, customer-facing role, not a desk-only administrative position. You will support the optometrist, guide patients throughout their clinic experience, assist with optical sales and help ensure a healthy appointment flow through consistent follow-ups and marketing support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver a warm and professional patient experience throughout each clinic visit.
• Support optical product consultation and sales by understanding patients’ needs and explaining suitable options.
• Manage enquiries, appointments, reminders and patient follow-ups to support a healthy clinic appointment flow.
• Assist the optometrist and ensure smooth day-to-day clinic operations.
• Support basic administration, stock handling, cash reporting and clinic documentation.
• Assist with marketing activities, lead follow-ups, social media execution and community outreach when required.
• Take on additional supporting responsibilities based on individual strengths and the clinic’s operational needs.

• Proactive in following up leads instead of waiting for customers to walk in.
• Willing to learn about eyecare, optical products and clinic operations.
• Comfortable using computers, Google Workspace, clinic software and social media.
• Organised, responsible and able to complete basic cash, stock and administrative records accurately.
• Comfortable appearing in social media content occasionally.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays according to the duty roster.
• Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service, healthcare or optical

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
