Assistant Manager, Manufacturing | $5,000–$6,000 | Permanent

Location: Singapore
Salary: $5,000–$6,000/month
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5-day office hours

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management

• Ensure production plans are achieved and customers' requested delivery dates are met.

• Oversee production efficiency, including output speed, downtime and wastage, while maintaining product quality standards.

• Lead, supervise and motivate the production team, optimise manpower allocation and identify training needs.

• Support production trials and new product launches.

Equipment & Maintenance

• Lead the design, installation and operational qualification of new or modified equipment and production lines.

• Establish and maintain effective equipment maintenance programmes.

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure production processes and working environments comply with statutory, customer, corporate, ISO and internal requirements.

• Review production and maintenance-related risk management, including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and workplace safety.

• Ensure relevant procedures and controls are properly implemented.

• Support food safety and quality compliance requirements.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead cross-functional improvement projects to drive cost savings, energy efficiency and productivity improvements.

• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and operational performance.
