The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with public sector to look for an Assistant Manager, Finance, responsible for overseeing and optimising the Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets functions, ensuring accurate and timely invoice and payment processing, expense claim verification, month-end and year-end closing, and compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.

The Talent

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets management is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Workday and data analytics tools is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, independent, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.

• Review and process vendor invoices and employee expense claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit schedules.
• Oversee fixed assets and operating lease accounting, including asset capitalisation, disposal, and periodic verification.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure proper financial documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and operational issues.
