MRA International (KK Branch) is looking for a Senior Technical Assistant (RBI) to assist with inspection, documentation, and drafting tasks. Salary will be based on experience.

Job Scope

• Assist RBI Engineers and Inspectors in conducting Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) activities, including gathering equipment information, inspection history, corrosion data, and relevant technical documentation.
• Review, compile, verify, and update inspection data for piping systems, pressure vessels, tanks, and other static equipment to support RBI assessments and inspection planning.
• Prepare and update isometric drawings, piping sketches, equipment layouts, and corrosion circuit drawings to support inspection activities and engineering evaluations.
• Maintain and update RBI databases and inspection management software, ensuring accurate records of equipment conditions, inspection findings, and historical inspection data.
• Assist RBI Engineers in identifying inspection priorities, monitoring equipment inspection schedules, and tracking recommendations based on RBI assessment results.
• Coordinate with Inspectors and relevant departments to obtain equipment dimensions, technical specifications, inspection reports, and other information required for RBI studies.
• Review and verify technical documents, inspection reports, drawings, and database entries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with COMPANY requirements.
• Maintain proper document control, including registration, filing, tracking, updating, and retrieval of RBI-related technical documents and inspection records.
• Assist RBI Engineers in preparing technical reports, inspection summaries, meeting minutes, presentations, and other documentation related to RBI activities.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding inspection findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to support timely completion of RBI programmes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior Technical Assistants in data management, documentation, drawing preparation, and RBI-related activities.
• Perform other technical and administrative duties assigned by the RBI Engineer or Supervisor to support the effective implementation of the COMPANY's inspection and asset integrity management programmes.

Requirements

The candidate shall possess the following:

• Minimum Diploma in any field with at least two (2) years of experience as a Technical Assistant or equivalent in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficient in using computer programs for technical drawings and able to read engineering drawings.
• Experience in RBI is an added advantage

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

• Kota Kinabalu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:
