To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a deep understanding of our customers' needs and be able to translate that into product requirements. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new products and services. You'll also need to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure our products remain competitive.

What you do

• Assume role as Product Owner to deliver the digital channels capabilities including strategic and industry projects, required to support the business growth and strategy of the Wholesale and SME segments
• Collaborate with local business users, functional specialists, operational teams, and other stakeholders to gather and define user requirements and intended outcome, design end-to-end UI/UX customer journeys and process workflows
• Manage the product development on the digital platforms end-to-end with upstream/ downstream systems with detailed user stories, manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and project rollout deployments
• Operate within an Agile framework alongside regional teams, taking full accountability for the product roadmap and ensuring prioritization of user stories based on stakeholder inputs
• Manage modification and enhancements of existing products to address emerging business needs, customer demands or regulatory needs
• Lead product pre-launch activities, including securing new product approvals, operationalizing processes, conducting product training, and updating documentation/specifications, while ensuring compliance with BNM and Shariah guidelines
• Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, new opportunities, and areas for innovation
• Define and monitor key performance metrics to track benefits realization from product initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Coordinate with Operations & Technology, client servicing teams, and other departments to resolve service delivery issues promptly, ensuring adherence to service level agreements

Who you are

• At least 5 years of experience in product development and management, preferably within transaction banking, financial services or fintech sectors
• Proven experience in defining product roadmap and execution for digital channels or similar financial connectivity solutions
• Strong understanding & breadth of transaction banking/ cash management products, processes, and regulatory environments, including BNM and Shariah compliance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Competency in Agile framework, with familiarity using Jira, Confluence and Figma tools
