Gading Kencana Sdn Bhd is expnading rapidly and is in search of a Solar Engineer with the Job Description below;

• Analyse and prepare daily, monthly, and annual Solar PV plant performance reports covering energy generation, weather station data, PSH, Performance Ratio (PR), Capacity Factor (CF), Specific Yield, plant availability, equipment failure, downtime, maximum power, capacity achieved, CO₂ reduction and other relevant performance indicators.
• Perform Solar PV plant performance and data analysis to identify abnormal trends, generation losses, equipment underperformance, aging and degradation, and provide recommendations for further investigation or improvement.
• Prepare and submit regulatory and statutory reports, including the monthly ST report and other relevant generation and performance reports, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission.
• Monitor the performance of NEM systems, including generation performance, system availability and relevant NEM data analysis.
• Assist in troubleshooting, fault investigation and root-cause analysis of Solar PV plant equipment and systems, including estimation of generation and revenue losses and preparation of relevant fault reports and warranty claims where applicable.
• Assist in preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance planning and monitoring, including reviewing maintenance schedules, maintenance records, outstanding works and performance of assigned personnel.
• Support ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 37001 and OSH requirements by conducting relevant inspections, maintaining records, monitoring contractor compliance and assisting the Safety Officer and relevant personnel with compliance activities.
• Support plant administrative and operational activities, including staff attendance, workman-hours, operational advance requisitions, advance closing, meal allowance documentation and submission of relevant records to HQ.
• Assist in procurement and invoice administration, including quotation comparison, PR/PO processing, invoice documentation and tracking of outstanding procurement and payment matters.
• Assist in managing site licences and statutory documentation, including monitoring business licence expiry dates, coordinating renewal with relevant authorities and maintaining proper records.
• Maintain and organise Solar PV plant technical records, databases, reports, documents, assets, tools, equipment and spare parts to ensure proper record keeping and operational readiness.
• Develop and improve data analysis tools, reporting templates and dashboards to enhance the efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of Solar PV plant monitoring and reporting.
• Provide technical and operational support for new requests, projects and additional scopes of work in alignment with the company's business and operational requirements.
• Supports and implement the ISO standards that have been implemented in the organization (9001, 14001, 450001 and 37001)
• Reports and implement any assignments appointed by the Plant Manager.

• Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering, or any other related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a solar farm environment.
• Strong knowledge of software related to daily solar farm maintenance.
• Good leadership skill to manage the team.
• Good communication skill in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Independent but yet a strong team player.
• Strong attention to details.
