Job Title: Planning Analyst

Function: Supply Chain / Planning

Role Overview

We are looking for a Planning Analyst to support the development and execution of the Global Supply Plan (GSP) to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels, production capacity, and material availability. The role will focus on build planning, order management, supply-demand analysis, inventory management, and supply chain performance improvement.

The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure supply plans are accurate, feasible, and aligned with business and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Global Supply Plan (GSP) based on customer demand, forecasts, production capacity, and material availability.
• Perform build planning and order management to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled on time.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to understand demand forecasts, customer requirements, and demand changes.
• Work with Operations, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to assess production capacity, material availability, lead times, and supply constraints.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, capacity constraints, supply gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Balance customer demand, inventory levels, production capacity, and material availability when developing supply plans.
• Utilize advanced planning tools, ERP systems, and supply chain planning methodologies to create accurate and actionable plans.
• Monitor supply chain KPIs and performance metrics, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels across multiple locations to maintain optimal stock availability.
• Identify and minimize risks related to excess inventory, shortages, aging stock, and product obsolescence.
• Review supply-demand gaps and proactively communicate potential risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Support scenario planning and what-if analysis for changes in demand, capacity, materials, or production schedules.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve shortages, supply constraints, order delays, and planning exceptions.
• Prepare regular supply chain reports, dashboards, forecasts, and management presentations.
• Track planning accuracy and recommend actions to improve supply planning effectiveness.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives within the Global Supply Planning function.
• Maintain accurate planning data and ensure alignment between planning systems and business requirements.
• Ensure supply planning activities comply with established processes, policies, and KPIs.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Material Planning, or Supply Chain Planning.
• Strong understanding of S&OP, supply-demand planning, inventory management, and production planning.
• Experience with ERP / Supply Chain Planning tools; knowledge of advanced planning systems is an advantage.
• Strong Excel/data analysis skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify supply chain risks and recommend solutions.
• Strong understanding of inventory optimization, capacity planning, lead times, and material availability.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and regional/global teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and fully onsite environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in manufacturing / semiconductor / electronics / high-tech industries is preferred.
• Knowledge of Global Supply Planning (GSP), Build Planning, Order Management, and S&OP.
• Experience working with SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, or other supply chain planning platforms is an advantage.
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting/visualization tools is a plus.
