Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily pastry/dessert production activities and manpower allocation.
• Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved according to the production plan.
• Monitor the preparation, mixing, baking, decorating, and finishing processes.
• Ensure all products meet established quality, taste, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Monitor production processes to minimize wastage, defects, and production downtime.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene, ISO standards, and company SOPs.
• Check and control the usage of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and production supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the relevant departments for material replenishment.
• Conduct regular checks on equipment, machinery, and production areas to ensure proper operation and cleanliness.
• Lead, train, coach, and supervise production operators.
• Monitor staff attendance, discipline, productivity, and adherence to work procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, checklists, and documentation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Warehouse, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices are maintained throughout the production area.
• Support new product trials, product improvements, and process optimization when required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Pastry, Culinary, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of supervisory experience, preferably in pastry, bakery, dessert, or food manufacturing.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to work on shifts.
