1. Sales & Customer Management
- Conduct daily sales activities using the company van within the assigned territory.
- Visit existing customers such as supermarkets, mini markets, grocery shops, wholesalers, convenience stores and other retail outlets.
- Take orders directly from customers and recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
- Achieve monthly sales targets, outlet coverage targets and product distribution targets.
- Develop new customers and expand the company's customer base.
- Maintain good relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat orders.
2. Product Sales & Merchandising
- Introduce new products, promotions and special offers to customers.
- Ensure company products are properly displayed, arranged and sufficiently stocked at customer outlets.
- Check product availability, pricing, expiry dates and product condition.
- Conduct stock rotation according to FIFO requirements.
- Monitor competitors' products, pricing, promotions and market activities.
- Ensure promotional materials such as price tags, posters and displays are properly placed.
3. Van Stock Management
- Check and maintain the stock carried in the company van.
- Ensure sufficient stock is available for daily sales activities.
- Record all stock loading, sales, returns and balance accurately.
- Ensure products are handled and stored properly to prevent damage or loss.
- Conduct daily stock reconciliation and report any discrepancies immediately.
4. Order & Payment Collection
- Prepare customer orders accurately and submit them according to company procedures.
- Issue invoices, delivery orders or sales documents where required.
- Collect payment from customers according to approved payment terms.
- Ensure all cash and payment collections are properly recorded and submitted to the company.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments when required.
5. Delivery & Customer Service
- Deliver products to customers according to the agreed schedule.
- Ensure products are delivered in good condition and in the correct quantity.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally.
- Report customer issues, product complaints and service problems to the Sales Supervisor/Manager.
6. Route & Outlet Management
- Follow the assigned sales route and daily visitation schedule.
- Ensure all assigned outlets are visited according to the required frequency.
- Plan daily routes efficiently to maximise outlet coverage and sales productivity.
- Identify potential new outlets within the assigned territory.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits and sales activities.
7. Vehicle Management
- Maintain the company van in a clean, safe and good working condition.
- Conduct basic daily vehicle checks before starting work.
- Ensure the vehicle is used strictly for company business.
- Report vehicle damage, accidents, breakdowns or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Follow all traffic laws and company vehicle policies.
8. Sales Reporting
- Submit daily sales reports, stock reports and collection reports.
- Monitor daily and monthly sales performance against targets.
- Provide information on market conditions, customer feedback and competitor activities.
- Prepare reports on new customers, lost customers and sales opportunities when required.
9. KPI
Performance may be measured based on:
- Monthly sales achievement.
- Number of outlets visited.
- Number of new customers acquired.
- Product distribution and SKU coverage.
- Collection performance.
- Van stock accuracy.
- Sales return and damaged stock control.
- Customer retention and satisfaction.
- Compliance with daily route and reporting requirements.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
