Position : Accounts Receivable Accountant

Industry : Manufacturing

Location: Seksyen U8, Jelutong Industrial Park,, 40150, Shah Alam, Selangor.

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8.30 A.M. to 5.30 P.M.)

Employment Type: 6 Contract with PERSOL (maternity replacement)

Salary range : RM4,500 - RM5,500 (based on experience & qualification)

Key Responsibilities

• Invoicing & Billing : Generate and issue accurate customer invoices, credit notes, and account statements on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Cash Allocation : Process customer payments and accurately match receipts against outstanding invoices.
• Master Data Maintenance : Create and maintain customer, vendor, and employee records within the system.
• Collections & Credit Control : Follow up on overdue payments and outstanding balances.
• Review aging reports and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain healthy customer account balances and collection performance.
• Account Reconciliation : Perform monthly Accounts Receivable reconciliations and ensure alignment between sub-ledger and general ledger balances.
• Month-End Closing Support : Assist with revenue cut-off entries, aging analysis, audit preparation, and month-end reporting activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Accounting experience
• Experience in billing, collections, customer payment allocation, and account reconciliations
• Knowledge of month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes
• Experience in Shared Services environment will be an added advantage
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
