Responsibilities

About the role

This role involves supporting the execution of consumer and market research projects, analyzing market data and insights, and providing business support across cross-functional teams. You will work with research agencies, syndicated data providers, and internal stakeholders to generate actionable insights that drive business decision-making.


Key responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end execution of qualitative and quantitative consumer research projects, including tracking, ad-hoc, and innovation studies
  • Assist in developing research briefs, questionnaires, discussion guides, and other research materials
  • Coordinate with research agencies to ensure projects are executed efficiently and according to agreed timelines
  • Attend fieldwork, focus group discussions (FGDs), in-depth interviews (IDIs), central location tests (CLTs), and product usage tests when required
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and data quality to ensure research objectives are achieved
  • Compile, validate, and analyze syndicated market data (e.g., NielsenIQ, Kantar) and other relevant market information
  • Prepare monthly market performance reports, competitor monitoring, and ad-hoc business analyses
  • Analyze research findings and market data to develop actionable insights and business recommendations
  • Prepare clear and engaging reports, presentations, dashboards, and management summaries
  • Support cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, and Customer Excellence by providing consumer and market insights for business decision-making


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 0–2 years of working experience in Market Research, Consumer Insights, Business Analytics, Marketing, or related fields
  • Basic understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify business implications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in FMCG, market research agencies, or syndicated data analysis is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with syndicated market data (e.g., NielsenIQ, Kantar) and survey platforms is an added advantage
