Senior Project Manager or Senior QS

Kuala Lumpur & Penang

Armani Group is seeking experienced construction professionals to strengthen our project development team in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

Positions Available

1. Senior Project Manager / Project Manager

2. Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior QS)

We are looking for candidates with strong main contractor experience who understand not only project management and documentation, but also the practical and commercial realities of construction.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with an established main contractor
• Strong understanding of main contractor operations, construction methodology, sequencing, procurement and site execution
• Commercially astute with good understanding of project costing, claims, variations (VO), tendering and cost control
• Able to identify potential project, contractual and cost risks before they become major issues
• Experienced in coordinating and negotiating with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
• Familiar with submissions, approvals and coordination with local authorities
• Able to review contractor proposals, quotations, claims and variations critically
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Hands-on, practical and able to work independently
• Strong communication, coordination and leadership skills

For Project Manager

• Strong track record managing construction projects from planning through completion
• Able to coordinate consultants, authorities and contractors while maintaining control over quality, cost and programme
• Good understanding of contracts, construction costing and commercial implications
• Able to anticipate site and contractor issues and drive practical solutions

For Senior QS

• Strong experience in pre- and post-contract QS
• Experienced in tender evaluation, procurement, progress claims, VO, final accounts and cost reporting
• Strong understanding of contractor pricing, construction costs and commercial strategy
• Able to independently assess costs and protect the developer's commercial interests
