We are looking for a technically strong and people-driven Test Engineering Manager to lead our Test Engineering team at Jabil Circuit, Penang. In this role, you will drive innovation, manage test strategies, and deliver exceptional results for customers and stakeholders. Leadership & People Management

• Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing Test Engineering team.

• Establish clear performance goals and conduct timely evaluations.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, open communication, and recognition.

• Create and manage succession plans for the Test Engineering function.

Strategy & Business Direction

• Define and implement Test Engineering strategies aligned with campus and corporate goals.

• Evaluate customer test strategies and recommend appropriate test solutions.

• Provide regular updates to Operations Managers and Business Unit Managers on strategy execution.

Cost & Resource Management

• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives by streamlining processes and eliminating non-value-added activities.

• Monitor departmental costs and drive continuous improvement in operational metrics.

• Manage procurement of test equipment and prepare accurate departmental forecasts.

Technical Excellence

• Drive the development of specialised test equipment and software.

• Establish new measurement systems and ensure procedures and work instructions are efficient.

• Share best practices across Jabil facilities globally.

• Ensure 100% adherence to health, safety, and quality policies.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.

• Strong technical knowledge in test engineering, systems, and processes.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Willing to be based in Penang.
