Our client is a large-scale distribution and business services organisation operating globally. They are seeking an exceptional HR Director to join their leadership team on a permanent basis. The Role

Big scope. Real accountability. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Defining and leading the country HR strategy aligned to 3-5 year business growth ambitions
• Driving organisational design, operating model transformation, and strategic workforce planning
• Leading complex change management and transformation programmes across a large, matrixed organisation
• Overseeing industrial relations, including union negotiations and collective agreement discussions
• Supporting M&A due diligence, people integration, and organisational restructuring activities
• Building succession readiness and inspiring a high-performing HR team

What We're Looking For

Hands-on, high-energy, and built for complexity? Here's what you'll bring:

• A degree in HR, Business, or a related field; an MBA is preferred
• 15+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
• Proven experience managing large, complex large-scale workforces within matrixed, multinational organisations
• An operationally strong mindset - comfortable challenging teams and driving smarter ways of working
• Industrial relations experience, including union management and collective agreement negotiations
• Strong business acumen with P&L literacy and a solid understanding of EBITDA
• Energetic, resilient, and unafraid to roll up your sleeves - this role demands a leader who executes
• M&A experience and a background in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or supply chain industry is an advantage
