Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Manager of Sales - Marketing (2-years contract) di Hektar Property Services Johor - Maukerja

Job Purpose:

To lead and drive the hotel’s overall sales and marketing strategy in order to maximize room revenue, F&B revenue, event sales and overall profitability. Responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic sales plans, marketing campaigns and branding initiatives aligned with the hotel’s positioning and corporate objectives.

This role ensures revenue growth through effective market segmentation, pricing strategies, digital marketing, partnerships and relationship management while maintaining strong brand presence and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute annual sales and marketing plan to achieve budgeted revenue targets (Rooms, F&B, Banquet, Events, Corporate Accounts).
2. Identify new business opportunities including corporate accounts, government agencies, travel agents, OTAs, event organizers and tour operators.
3. Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and occupancy performance to recommend pricing strategies in collaboration with Revenue Management.
4. Prepare and achieve annual sales budget and KPIs.
5. Drive room occupancy, ADR and RevPAR performance.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government bodies, travel agents and key partners.
7. Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, networking events and roadshows.
8. Negotiate corporate contracts and rate agreements.
9. Represent the hotel in industry events, exhibitions and tourism-related functions.
10. Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote room packages, festive promotions, F&B offerings and events.
11. Oversee digital marketing initiatives including website, social media platforms, online travel agencies (OTAs) and review platforms.
12. Increase online visibility, engagement and positive guest reviews (Google, TripAdvisor, Agoda, *************, etc.).
13. Develop marketing materials including brochures, EDMs, press releases and promotional collaterals.
14. Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
15. Maintain strong relationships with media, tourism boards and industry partners.
16. Prepare speeches, press releases and publicity materials for hotel events and milestones.
17. Coordinate VIP visits, government delegations and official events.
18. Drive banquet and event sales including weddings, corporate functions and social events.
19. Collaborate with banquet supplier to promote banquet campaigns and seasonal promotions.
20. Develop creative packages to increase revenue during low occupancy periods.
21. Lead, coach and develop the Sales & Marketing team.
22. Set clear KPIs and performance targets for team members.
23. Foster collaboration with Front Office, Finance and Operations departments.
24. Ensure team adherence to SOPs, company policies and service standards.
25. Prepare annual marketing budget and ensure effective cost control.
26. Monitor ROI of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.
27. Submit monthly sales reports, market intelligence updates and revenue analysis to Management.
28. Monitor guest feedback and online reputation.
29. Work closely with Operations team to enhance guest satisfaction and service quality.
30. Implement loyalty and retention initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in hotel sales & marketing.
3. Strong understanding of hotel revenue management and distribution channels.
4. Experience in digital marketing and OTA management.
5. Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
6. Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
