Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for HSE matters, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Advise management, site leaders, and contractors on HSE compliance requirements and best practices in line with applicable regulations.
- Develop and oversee safety and utilities maintenance programs to support operational excellence and achieve HSE objectives.
- Oversee fire safety, emergency preparedness, contractor safety compliance, and facility-related HSE requirements.
- Deliver HSE training programs, including safety inductions, toolbox talks, and MHE operator training, while promoting safety awareness through various communication channels.
- Conduct monthly HSE inspections with departmental HSE Committee representatives and prepare inspection reports for review and discussion during HSE Committee meetings.
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or a related discipline.
- Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) certification is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of HSE experience, preferably within the logistics, warehousing, 3PL, or 4PL industry and is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiar with risk assessment methodologies, HIRARC, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes.
- Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operations and facility maintenance.
