The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations and ensuring that all personnel, property, and assets are protected. This role includes supervising a team of security personnel, coordinating patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with all security procedures and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of security guards to ensure effective coverage and performance.
- Plan and schedule duty rosters to ensure 24/7 security coverage.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure the premises are secure.
- Monitor CCTV systems, access controls, and alarm systems.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, or incidents and coordinate appropriate action.
- Investigate security breaches or incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Train and guide security staff on safety procedures and emergency protocols.
- Ensure that all security personnel adhere to company policies and legal regulations.
- Liaise with management, contractors, and local authorities when necessary.
- Maintain records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent; Diploma in Security Management or related field is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a security role, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory position.
- Valid security license/certification as required by local law.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good knowledge of security operations, emergency response, and safety procedures.
- Familiar with CCTV, alarm systems, and access control technologies.
- Able to work under pressure and handle conflicts calmly and professionally.
- Excellent observation, communication, and report writing skills.
