About the role

Plan, manage, and monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables. Coordinate site teams, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Ensure works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. Monitor site progress and resolve technical, operational, and coordination issues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables

• Coordinate site teams, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients

• Ensure works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines

• Monitor site progress and resolve technical, operational, and coordination issues

• Ensure compliance with all safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements

• Manage project costs, variations, claims, progress payments, and risk mitigation

• Conduct site meetings and prepare progress reports for management and clients

• Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and final handover

• Support implementation and compliance of IMS requirements related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field

• Minimum 15 years of experience in high rise construction project management

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and site coordination

• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of project-planning software is an advantage

• Strong knowledge and familiar with Malaysian construction contracts and industry practices

• Willing to relocate based on project site

• Willing to travel or work at project sites when required
