ACCOUNT MANAGER – JOB SCOPE
1. Financial Management
- Oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly maintained.
- Monitor the company’s cash flow, expenses, income, and financial position.
- Prepare financial reports for management review.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Monitor accounts payable and ensure payments are made accurately and on time.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of supplier and customer accounts.
- Monitor credit limits and payment terms.
3. Payroll & Statutory Contributions
- Oversee payroll preparation and ensure salary calculations are accurate.
- Ensure statutory payments and submissions such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and other applicable requirements are completed on time.
- Review payroll reports and investigate any discrepancies.
4. Bank & Cash Management
- Monitor daily bank transactions and cash balances.
- Perform regular bank reconciliation.
- Manage company payments, transfers, and banking matters.
- Ensure sufficient cash flow for daily business operations.
5. Month-End & Year-End Closing
- Supervise monthly and yearly account closing processes.
- Ensure all transactions, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations are properly recorded.
- Prepare financial statements and management accounts within the required timeline.
6. Budget & Cost Control
- Assist management in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual expenses against the approved budget.
- Identify unnecessary costs and recommend suitable cost-control measures.
7. Audit & Taxation
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other professional advisers.
- Prepare required documents and schedules for audit and tax purposes.
- Ensure accounting records are complete and properly maintained.
8. Team Management
- Supervise and guide the Accounts team in their daily duties.
- Allocate tasks and monitor staff performance and productivity.
- Review accounting work to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Train and develop Accounts staff when necessary.
9. Internal Control & Compliance
- Establish and maintain proper accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Ensure financial transactions are supported by proper documentation and approvals.
- Identify financial risks, errors, and irregularities and report them to management.
10. Management Reporting
- Prepare regular financial and management reports.
- Provide management with financial information to support business decisions.
- Analyse financial performance, profitability, expenses, and cash flow.
- Highlight significant financial issues and recommend appropriate actions.
11. Coordination
- Work closely with HR, Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations, and Management departments on financial matters.
- Ensure all departments follow proper financial procedures and documentation requirements.
12. Other Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of all company financial and employee information.
- Ensure accounting records are properly filed and readily available when required.
- Perform any other accounting or financial duties assigned by management.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
