1. Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, responsible and hardworking intern to support the daily operations of our veterinary clinic. This position provides hands-on exposure to customer service, clinic operations, animal care support and workplace hygiene.

2. Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Front Area

• Greet and welcome customers upon arrival.
• Assist customers with basic enquiries and direct them to the appropriate team member.
• Help manage customer flow and maintain a comfortable waiting area.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.

Clinic Operations

• Assist the team with general day-to-day clinic operations.
• Ensure common areas, consultation areas and workspaces are organised and presentable.
• Assist with basic stock and supplies arrangement.
• Support the clinic team with other operational tasks when required.

Clinic Hygiene & Housekeeping

• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping within the clinic.
• Clean and maintain cages, ward areas and animal-related spaces.
• Assist with disinfection and maintain cleanliness according to clinic hygiene procedures.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained.

Animal Care Support

• Assist with basic handling and movement of cats under staff supervision.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for cats under the clinic’s care.
• Assist the veterinary team with basic non-medical tasks when required.

3. Requirements

• Currently pursuing Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, Customer Service, Animal Science, Animal Care, Veterinary-related studies or other relevant fields.
• Comfortable working around cats and handling animal waste.
• Friendly and comfortable communicating with customers.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Good attitude towards cleanliness and hygiene.
• No prior veterinary clinic experience required; training will be provided.

Pay: RM800.00 per month

Work Location: In person
