Role Description This full-time Sales & Service Engineer role is based in Shah Alam with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves managing sales activities for instrumentation and valve products, preparing technical proposals, and supporting customers with product selection and application recommendations. The engineer will perform on-site field service, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of valves, actuators, positioners, and related systems. Day-to-day tasks include responding to technical inquiries, coordinating service visits, providing technical support to clients, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues. The role also involves maintaining accurate service reports, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to customer training and product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
• Candidates should possess hands-on Field Service and Maintenance & Repair skills for on-site work with valves, actuators, and related equipment.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for engaging with customers, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
• Experience in industrial instrumentation, valve systems, or oil & gas/petrochemical environments is an advantage.
• Ability to work safely at customer sites, occasionally travel, and manage multiple assignments independently.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, MS Office) and familiarity with technical documentation.
• Valid driving license and willingness to visit customer locations as required.
