Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lab Technician role based at the Toyo Tyre Malaysia manufacturing facility in Kamunting, Taiping, Perak. The Laboratory Technician will perform routine and specialized testing on raw materials, rubber products and tyre samples to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations. Daily tasks include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing test samples, recording and analyzing test data, and reporting results to supervisors and relevant departments. The Lab Technician will collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to help maintain consistent product quality and safety.

Requirements

• Diploma in Science or equivalent qualification
• Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to manufacturing schedules and operational needs
• Good discipline and committed
• Able to work in a team-based environment and be independent
