We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchaser Intern to join our pharmacy team. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in purchasing and procurement within a healthcare and retail pharmacy environment. It is ideal for students who are interested in gaining practical knowledge of pharmacy operations and enhancing their organizational and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate filing systems for documents, invoices, and inventory records.
• Support daily administrative tasks including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling customer or supplier correspondence.
• Update and manage warehouse records, including stock lists, supplier information, and staff schedules.
• Support the creation,tracking and processing purchase orders and proposals
• Help monitor inventory levels and assist in placing replenishment orders.
• Help track invoices and support the finance team with vendor payments and terms
• Maintain and update vendor databases and databases of preferred suppliers. Communicate with suppliers for quotes, product information and track order status

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of basic inventory systems is a plus.
• Responsible, punctual, and eager to learn about pharmacy operations.
• Able to commit for a minimum of 4 months internship duration.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
