Job Description
- Develop and execute global supply chain strategies to align with company goals.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and inventory management activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain processes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Analyse supply chain performance and implement continuous improvements.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team to achieve effective operations.
- Prepare and manage supply chain budgets effectively.
A Successful Global Supply Chain Director Should Have
- Strong expertise in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Distribution and Logistics experience a MUST
- Data Governance a MUST
- Process Improvement experience a MUST.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic supply chain plans.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the supply chain industry.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Annual salary ranging from MYR 400000 to MYR 420000.
