Job summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to support our finance team in day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess a Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance or an SPM qualification with relevant experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate accounting records.

Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions.

Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.

Perform monthly bank reconciliation and other account reconciliations.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

Assist in preparing monthly e-invoicing submissions in compliance with LHDN requirements.

Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.

Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments for payment and billing matters.

Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Requirements :

Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance or SPM with relevant experience.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Good communication and organizational skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
