About the role

A Site Safety Supervisor role responsible for inspecting construction sites, rectifying unsafe conditions, and ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the construction site and rectify any unsafe conditions.
• Correct unsafe work practices.
• Check subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made under it.
• Liaise with contractors' safety supervisors appointed under Regulation 26 regarding the safety of work carried out by subcontractors.
• Conduct toolbox meetings.
• Carry out regular audits and inspections.
• Inspect the worksite for hazards and prepare risk assessments.
• Liaise with JKKP/DOSH and relevant authorities, such as Bomba, the Department of Health, and CIDB, to ensure the company's safety standards and requirements are maintained.
• Maintain all site documentation.

About you

• Must hold a valid "Yellow Book" registration as a competent Site Safety Supervisor with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH/JKKP).
• Minimum of a diploma or certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), engineering, architecture, or a related construction discipline.
• Generally, 2–5+ years of hands-on safety management experience on active building, infrastructure, or civil engineering sites.
• Strong knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, including its 2022 amendments, and construction-specific codes of practice.
• Assertive leadership to promote compliance.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Sound decision-making during emergencies.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
